Welcome

Here you will find out:

  • Information about Buckinghamshire as a place - what's working well, what's not - and the challenges we face in the future.
  • What the long-term priorities are for the county.
  • How partner organisations are working together to improve life in Buckinghamshire.
  • How we all have a part to play in making our area a better place to live.
  • For information on how external inspectorates view the performance of public services in Buckinghamshire, see the Audit Commission OnePlace website on http://oneplace.direct.gov.uk/infobyarea/region/area/Pages/areaoverview.aspx?region=57&area=321

This website is at an early stage of development:

  • Initially, the focus is on ensuring all the information partners across the county need to share is readily accessible from this one source. See Information for Partners for further detail.
  • The aim is to ensure that information about partnership working is clear and accessible.  However, we recognise that the types of information shared between partners may often not be written in a way that is of interest to a wider audience.
  • So, over time, we intend to promote and communicate the 'story of Bucks' more widely, and specifically to residents.  See Your Buckinghamshire for further information

Who are we?

The Bucks Strategic Partnership is the over-arching partnership organisation in the county.  It brings together all the local councils, health, police, fire and rescue, business sector and voluntary and community sector organisations together for the purpose of ensuring our collective skills and resources work most effectively, and efficiently, together for the benefit of all those who live and work here.  See How we work together for more information.
