What is the Aiming High for Disabled Children (AHDC) Pinpoint Database?

AHDC Pinpoint is a voluntary database which aims to identify all the disabled children in Buckinghamshire. This will allow us to plan services for disabled children and their families in local areas based on accurate information. It will also be a vital source of information for Adults Services to support disabled children in their transition to adulthood.

Who can register?

The registration form is intended for completion by parents / carers of disabled children who:

  • are 0 – 19 years old
    AND
  • Live in Buckinghamshire OR are the responsibility of the Local Authority.

A good uptake will help us to plan services based on the population of disabled children and young people in Buckinghamshire.

Registering your child on the Short Breaks Pinpoint Database will not change their entitlement to services. Every child’s needs will continue to be considered on an individual basis. For more information you can download the flyer below. (Please note due to cost we are unable to update the related flyer and registration form in hard copy).

Aiming High for Disabled Children – Newsletter

Signing up to the database gives you the opportunity to subscribe to the AIMS newsletter (which combines information from Aiming High and Aims).
AIMS will continue to cover the work of the Children & Young People's Trust and its partners, and show how the Trust is making a real difference to the lives of children and young people with and without disabilities in Buckinghamshire.
